TWO ASL SHADOW INTERPRETED PERFORMANCES!
In this all-American musical, ten hard-luck Texans, armed with nothing but hope, humor and ambition, fight to keep at least one hand on a brand-new truck in order to win it. Days pass under a scorching sun as a diverse cross-section of a small town community reveal their stories and their own visions of the American Dream. Hands on a Hard Body is based on true events and a 1997 documentary of the same name. The New York Times said, “You can hear America singing,” in the show’s country-rock melodies and soulful lyrics.
Directed by Don Brewer. Musical direction by Sarah de Tute.
Book by Doug Wright. Lyrics by Amanda Green. Music by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green.
