Grew up in Romeo, Michigan and attended Michigan School for the Deaf from 1st grade all the way up to graduating from High School in 2009. In the fall of 2009, I would enroll at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York as a Business Major. Upon receiving an Associate of Science degree in Business, I would transfer to the Multidisciplinary Studies program to broaden my educational and employment opportunities. After receiving Bachelors Degree in 2014 in Applied Arts & Sciences with minors in Communication and Economics, I would then start working full time for Holley Institute as the Senior Program Director of The Holley Family Village in Brooklyn, Michigan (Not in New York!). The Holley Family Village hosts educational programs year round that serves the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard-of-Hearing communities. The Holley Institute is a department at St. John Hospitaland Medical Center that has the goal of helping create new worlds for the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and those with some degree of Hearing Loss. I met the Synergy on Stage team through a great group of friends who would refer the SOS team to me. I do a lot of office work so being a part of the SOS team activities several nights a week is a nice change of pace and a lot of fun as well. I have played basketball my whole life and also enjoy golf among other sports.
